This is a community of families sharing tips, routes, experiences, and the everyday joys (and occasional uphill struggles) of cargo-bike life. To keep this space welcoming, useful, and safe for everyone, please follow these guidelines.

1. No Unsolicited Promotion

This is a community space. We welcome industry experts and dealers for their knowledge, but commercial self-promotion, advertising, or unsolicited sales pitches are not allowed.

If you believe a service or product could genuinely benefit the group, please contact an Admin before posting.

2. Selling Bikes or Equipment

We’re happy to see bikes and accessories find new homes, but we want to avoid the chat turning into a marketplace.
Please ask an Admin for approval before posting anything for sale. This helps keep the main feed focused on discussion and advice.

3. Privacy & Safety

• Phone numbers: Members’ phone numbers are visible within the group. Please do not share messages, screenshots, or personal information outside the group without consent. Do not collect numbers for external lists or contact members privately without a clear community reason.

• Scam awareness: Never send money or share financial or personal details with people you don’t know or trust.

By joining the group, you acknowledge that your phone number is visible to other members and agree to respect everyone’s privacy.

4. Respect & Tone

• Be kind: No abusive language, hate speech, harassment, or bullying.

• Stay on topic: Keep conversations focused on cargo bikes, family cycling, and related local infrastructure.

• Advice disclaimer: Advice shared here reflects personal experience and should not be considered professional, legal, or financial advice.

• Mind the volume: Use reply threads or emoji reactions where possible to avoid excessive notifications. If the chat gets busy, consider muting notifications in your settings.

5. Moderation

Admins reserve the right to remove posts or members that do not align with these principles, to ensure the group remains a high-quality and supportive resource for everyone.
